DST- CURIE-AI center, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) was established to promote Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR) and Internet of Thing (IoT) concepts in diverse fields like Agriculture, Science, Medicine, Law, Humanities and Engineering. Faculty, Research Scholars and PG/UG students from School of Sciences, School of Social Sciences and School of Engineering & Technology of SPMVV, Surrounding Universities and Colleges educated and motivated from these activities. DST-CURIE-AI Center has established in two phases: Phase I is started from March 2019 and ended May 2020 and sanctioned Rs. 70 Lakhs. Phase II is started at December 2020 to till date and sanctioned Rs. 1.70 crores.

Phase I - Objectives
Develop Computational Action from Computational Thinking using advanced AI lab.
Reduce the Barriers for Putting Computational Action into Practice.
An explosion of artificial intelligence (AI) applications and increasing expectations for autonomous systems that exhibit human-level intelligence in healthcare, agriculture, food science, remote sensing etc.
Improve data access through cloud to take dynamic decisions in the remote places also.
More artificial intelligence courses will be offered in under graduate engineering curriculum and offered post graduate courses in Mathematics and Computer Science Departments.

Conduct special training programs on Artificial Intelligence to interdisciplinary students and faculty.
Improve societal research in the field of Agriculture, healthcare etc.
Phase II - Objectives
Capacity building of students/faculty to innovate and generate startup ideas and provide financial support for startups and successful prototypes.
To inculcate the research aptitude and improve the knowledge base in AI related areas.
To create the ecosystem of AI based research.
To integrate AI in Transdisciplinary Research.
Develop Computational Action from Computational Thinking using advanced AI lab.
Develop IoT and Augmented Reality based AI innovative products in the CURIE-AI centre.
Training on patent publication and trade registry and Commercialization of the prototype adopting the different stages of Technology Reediness Level (TRL) scale.
