Phase I - Objectives
Develop Computational Action from Computational Thinking using advanced AI lab.
Reduce the Barriers for Putting Computational Action into Practice.
An explosion of artificial intelligence (AI) applications and increasing expectations for autonomous systems that exhibit human-level intelligence in healthcare, agriculture, food science, remote sensing etc.
Improve data access through cloud to take dynamic decisions in the remote places also.
More artificial intelligence courses will be offered in under graduate engineering curriculum and offered post graduate courses in Mathematics and Computer Science Departments.

Conduct special training programs on Artificial Intelligence to interdisciplinary students and faculty.

Summer & Winter Training Programs

  • Conducted a One Week Faculty Development Program on “New Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence – Societal Perspectives” from 25th to 30th, November, 2019 at DST-CURIE-AI, SPMVV, Tirupati.

  • Conducted a One Week Hands on Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence in Genomics” on 22nd to 27th February, 2020 at DST-CURIE-AI, SPMVV, Tirupati.

  • Conducted a One Week Hands on Workshop on “Python and Data Science” on 2nd to 7th March, 2020 at DST-CURIE-AI, SPMVV, Tirupati.

  • Conducted a Virtual National Conference on “Artificial Intelligence – Current Trends and Applications” on 27th & 28th, March 2020 at DST-CURIE-AI, SPMVV, Tirupati.

  • Through this conference 23 research papers related to Artificial Intelligence are published in Scopus Journal Test Engineering & Management.

Student Club Activities:

  • Two days workshop on “Multi-Disciplinary Applications in Artificial Intelligence” will be conducted on 28th & 29th January 2020.

  • Conducted a Two day Student Symposium on “Idea Pitching for Societal Applications in Artificial Intelligence” on 24th & 25th February, 2020.

  • Conducted a Virtual Event on Artificial Intelligence “Idea Festival 2020” on 30th April, 2020 at DST-CURIE-AI Student Club, SPMVV, Tirupati.
