  • Developed  guidelines for disposal of Chemical  and biological waste in University
  • Developed a template for Teacher Appraisal and made it operational.
  • Almost all departments have introduced learning outcome – based curriculum
  • Young faculty were funded with seed money from Centre for Translational Research (CTR) grant
  • Established “Transdisciplinary Research Initiative Centre for Adolescent health” (TRICA) with the financial support of Rs.63.5 Lakhs from UGC

  • SPMVV helpline centre was created to provide counselling and support for those seeking help in dealing with mental health. Programs for creating awareness on COVID protocols were conducted and sanitizers, masks and basic amenities were distributed to the community around the campus and in adopted villages

  • A template in ‘Google Form’ was created and teacher feedback was collected during the pandemic

2018-2019

  • FDP to train faculty on using MS Team for Online teaching, Evaluation and performance Assessment
  • Office automation procedures and processes were developed to obtain online self- appraisal forms from the Teaching faculty.
  • Online feedback is collected from students
  • Panel discussion for Teaching staff on Draft National Education Policy-2019 in April 2019
  • 8 proposals were submitted by Research scholars and faculty to DBT-BIG Scheme.
  • Advanced equipment namely XRD,DNA Sequencer, HPTLC, Nano Drop were procured
  • BIONEST programme was sanctioned
  • UGC SAP – DRS II has been sanctioned to the Departments of Applied Microbiology and Social Work.
  • SERB proposals have been submitted by faculty members
  • Implemented online submission of self-Appraisal forms by teaching faculty
  • Communication and skill development courses are conducted for students regularly through the University Placement Cell
  • Established IoT labs & Advanced Life Sciences Labs in Technology business incubation facility

2017-2018

  • Conducted faculty training workshops on MOOCs, Presentation Tube and LaTex to facilitate teachers to develop and prepare online courses for various programmes in the University
  • CURIE 2nd phase lab and equipment are established
  • Biotechnology Park Proposal has been submitted.
  • SAP Proposal has been submitted by Department of Applied Microbiology and Social Work.
  • Women Technology Park activities have begun.
  • TBI-SSIIE activities have started. Selected incubatees and established IoT Labs & advanced life science labs.
