The Bioinformatics Facility Centre is established at this University with a prime objective of creating the awareness about the Bioinformatics tools and concepts among the faculty, Research Scholars and student community.
From the day of inception, this BIF Centre is concentrating on providing the Lab facility and professional assistance to Bioinformatics projects personnel and lab facility to Post Graduate students and Research Scholars pertaining to various disciplines of life sciences like Applied Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Seri-biotechnology, Zoology, Botany and Food technology. Other Science and Technology departments like Pharmaceutical Sciences and Engineering and Technology courses are also major beneficial wings of the University.
